It was going to happen, sooner or later, with, or without our consent - year 2012!
Best not to resist it and accept that for some (actually many) this may be the last year of life on earth as they know it. This is more exciting than Y2K ever was!
So, happiest of New Years to all people around our battered and weary planet. May you find the spirit, strength, and relentless will - not only to keep standing up whenever you are beaten down, but to even lend a hand to someone else in need.
This year, regardless of what ancient civilizations have had to "say" about it, to me, feels like the best year yet coming.
The entire planet is in social flux and while Mom Earth is looking a bit tattered these days, She still has plenty of life left in her - enough, at least to sustain the spirits and wills of those who live reasonably, and conscientiously.
If you're on the fence about December 21, 2012 (look it up if you must), then you might want to consider taking advantage of a unique (once in a 26,000 year) opportunity to improve your quality of life.
My money is on the freeloading corporatists busting up our living space long before the cosmos does, but it can't hurt to do a little experiment with all the human buzz going around about "end of days".
Imagine that December 21, 2012, WILL be YOUR last day "here".
Imagine all the things you might regret not having done when "that" day rolls around.
Are they reasonable things?
Well, you have the best part of a whole year to do them!
I feel AND think that 2012 is going to be one of the greatest years in human history. I'm certainly willing to work extra hard to make it so.
So as we embark on this exciting new year, with all my heart, I wish good health, strength and courage to ALL my friends around OUR planet!
